our second year back to val thorens and residence le portillo did not disappoint. great location, ski-out convenience, clean common areas, and spacious rooms with good storage. the restaurant looked enticing and the boot room was well set up. definitely recommend bringing your own pillows though!

We also enjoyed having a restaurant above the hotel, where we could grab a bite to eat after a long day of skiing.
